Oreckon POS features

Everything Oreckon POS does today, grouped by where it happens: from the floor and the kitchen to the till and the back office.

Floor and orders

Floor plan

Areas and tables with shape, capacity and state, with counts of free, busy and reserved tables at the top.

Order screen

Categories, products with options, a note per item and the number of guests. Saving the order sends it to the kitchen.

QR at the table

Guests order from their phone, call a waiter or ask for the bill. QR cards print for all tables in one go.

Open bills

Every open bill in one list, with its table, total and the time it was opened.

Move and merge

A bill follows the guests when they change tables, and two tables can be merged into one bill.

Notifications

A new order, a waiter call, a bill request or a delay in the kitchen shows up in the system immediately.
The order screen

The order screen

Pick a table and the number of guests, tap the products and the total updates as you go. When you save, each item goes to its own station, kitchen or bar.

  • Built for touch, on a tablet or a till screen
  • Product options and notes for the kitchen
  • Discounts per bill

Kitchen and bar

Stations

Kitchen, bar or as many stations as you need. Each product group goes to its station, and each station sees only its own items.

Preparing, ready, served

Each item has its own state and waiting time, so the floor knows when to serve.

Kitchen tickets

The till app prints the ticket on a thermal printer the moment the order arrives, over the network or USB.

Payments and pricing

Payment methods

Cash, card, bank transfer, meal vouchers and online payment. One bill can be split across several payments.

Discounts and rules

A fixed amount or a percentage, plus rules that apply on their own: by basket total, category, quantity or time of day.

Taxes and income departments

Taxes per store and income departments per product group, for clean reports.

Multiple currencies

Each store has its own currency, with rates updated from the ECB. Totals are never mixed across currencies.

Reservations on a timeline

It opens in the guest’s phone browser. No app and no account needed.
